Theory Hair Studio offers premium training among elite stylists within a beautiful and professional environment. You will be given the opportunity to gain distinguished experience in color, cut, blow dries, styling, lash and hair extensions, as well as being encouraged to express your creative marketing and sales ideas directly to management.

Qualifications (including but not limited to):
– Valid California Cosmetology License
– Must have assisted minimum of one year from a former salon
– Must have worked as a stylist minimum of two years
– Must have existing clientele in San Diego, CA
– Must be able to manage basic admin tasks as needed such as answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
– Strong ability to provide all Haircuts and Colors independently
– Knowledge of L’Oreal Professionnel, Kerastase and Oribe products are a plus
– Maintain work station clean and sanitize tools such as shears and combs
– Update and maintain client’s information and records, such as services provides and formulas
– Demonstrate and recommend products suitable to client’s needs
– Coach and supervise other stylists and assistants
– Develops objective and strategies to market, grow clientele and skills

– Refined customer service skills and superior phone etiquette
– Self starter, hard working, positive attitude
– Strong administrative skills including MS Word, Quickbooks, Excel, WordPress, Mailchimp
– Cash handling experience
– Strong interest in social media marketing and brand representation
– Creative, fashion forward, and detail oriented
– Flexible schedule and available to work weekends
– Previous hospitality, or heavy calendar management experience a plus
– Answer all incoming calls, greet clients, and schedule appointments
– Manage product inventory and retail displays
– Maintain salon cleanliness and organization
– Process transactions
– Provide shampoos, blow dries, and styling
